Print finishing

How do we realize print finishing?

Over 15 high-quality machines (including the brands Bobst, Heidelberg) make it possible to refine the design to highest perfection and meet the expectations of our customers. The finishes we use enhance the packaging, increase the visual effect and protect the surface. Thanks to the techniques used and the combination of various effects in one print, the print object has a positive effect on the sense of touch and sight of the interacting person. There is no better way to set your product apart from the competition.

Are you interested in ecological effects? Or maybe you prefer premium effects? We guarantee, that thanks to our technologies you will always get the result you expect.

Varnishing

The purpose of the mechanical process of varnishing is to protect the printed paints and colours from abrasion. Thanks to the varnish, the paper gains strength and can appear a little thicker. The type of applied varnish or lacquer enables a variety of effects – from deep matt to delicate gloss, pearly to high-gloss.

The objects we produce can be provided and upgraded with dispersion, hybrid, UV or soft-touch varnishes. We use them over the whole area or only selectively – depending on customer’s expectations and project requirements.

Foiling

Due to its protective function, the application of foil can extend the life of the material. However, the main task of foiling is to enhance the final visual result.

We coat the surfaces with different types of film, which creates a glossy, matt or satin finish that embellishes every graphic.

Hot stamping

This method is also known as thermoprinting. It is a popular technique of print finishing, in which different foils are applied through thermally conductive matrices. In this way we can enrich selected graphic elements and give the product an exclusive look. In our work we use gold and silver plating the most, but of course we offer a wide range of hot stamping colours.

Embossing

Thanks to this process, selected elements on the packaging will gain a 3D effect by impressing them on paper with special matrices. Our technology allows the use of convex or concave stamping. The precision of the processing will make even a simple design look graceful and elegant.

Punching

In this method, parts of the packaging are cut out by machine. This technique enables certain shapes to be punched out of the paper with a stencil. Thanks to our Bobst punching machines with a cleaning section and digital sheet navigation, we are able to cut out even the most demanding patterns with the highest precision. This technique is combined with grooves, perforations and notches – depending on the project’s requirements.

Display-Windows

Thanks to the most modern machinery, we also produce window cutouts with the option of foiling, which enable the product to be presented very attractively in the packaging.

Folding and gluing

These are the final production steps that bring the product into a previously planned shape. Thanks to our Versor Serto folding box gluing machines, we can implement these processes with the greatest precision – because we know how important it is to assemble and glue packaging according to our customers’ guidelines. There are several assembling lanes in our production hall. Multipoint glueing is for daily business.
